Let's face it, most of us will not succeed in keeping the resolutions we made when the ball dropped just weeks ago. There's even a national holiday to mark the occasion: Jan. 17 is considered Ditch New Year's Resolution Day. By February, the wheels often collectively come off of the New Year's Resolution bus. I mean, come on: Have you ever been to the gym at the beginning of January, when the floors are about to collapse under sheer capacity? Did that experience make you want to do this?
And then fast-forward to the beginning of February, when the gym is free of wannabe fitness crowds and you have your pick of treadmills and elliptical machines. It leaves us workout regulars feeling a little like this.
We decided to have a little fun with this annual phenomenon of giving up. Below are some popular resolutions paired with their February fail equivalents -- each in URL form using some of the newest “not-com” domain extensions available.
While we could have used ‘dot-fail’ (.fail) for all of the “I give up!” domain names -- because yes, that is a real option -- we decided to get creative with some of the hundreds of other not-com extensions out there.
P.S. As of January 15, 2016, all of these domain names below are still available. So if your New Year's resolution is to build an online presence with a tongue-in-cheek website that celebrates failure, seize these while you still can. Or better yet, use this list to get even more creative.
